The Libby app is the easiest way to get started with digital books, audiobooks, and magazines from your public library’s collection on OverDrive!
October 2026
Libby has increased their security measures to keep your account and the library’s holdings secure. For Middlebury residents the PIN (ie Password) is the same password that you use to log into “My Account” on our library catalog to place holds and check your currently checked out print materials.
If you have never logged into “My Account” on our library catalog (https://mbypl.agverso.com/login?cid=MBYPL&lid=MBYPL) you will need to log in with your library barcode and the temporary password of userpass. The system will prompt you to choose a new password. Once you choose a new password, head back over to the Libby app and enter that password/PIN there.
If you run into any problems, please call the library at 203-758-2634 and we can help.
